Have someone who will train you progressively in different bird calls for a price. Use it to call birds and learn animal lore. Then you could shoot them if you wish (not relly giving combat experience). Then skin them to get feathers that can be used to create flights using carving lore.

Interesting idea.

A little twisted and a little sadistic, but interesting. :)

Yes! I would love to be able to do this! Not necessarily HAVE to kill them, but at least the ability to kill them if needed.

Although, after you slaughtered Big Bird's 20th cousin, I don't think they'd be as willing to heed your call anymore.

From "A Link to the Past" and onwards, there were cuccos, which were mainly just re-named chickens, but with a vicious twist - if you attacked 'em, an entire host of cuccos would attack poor Link, causing some serious damage. I kinda lika the idea of having something here in DR that's similar - neutral or even helpful as long as you don't attack 'em, but vicious as a group if you attack even one.

Also look up The Death Gate Cycle's "Seventh Gate". The concept, not the book. =P

>>Zelda chickens

In Twilight Princess, if you attack a Cucco, rather than the standard swarm of pissed off birds, you gained control of the abused bird for several seconds. It was... different.
