I really enjoy the information you get when you appraise a critter careful:
If you attacked with a glaes thrusting blade, you believe that the enemy would train quite badly.
If you threw the blade at the enemy you wonder if it would train very poorly.
If you defended by parrying attacks, you are confident that the enemy would train very well.
If you defended by evading attacks, you estimate that the enemy would train acceptably.
If you defended by blocking attacks, you estimate that the enemy would train exceptionally well.
If you attempted to beguile the enemy with tactics, you think it is likely that it would train rather well.
If you attempted to debilitate the enemy, you are confident that it would train quite badly.
With that said, I think there may be another helpful line which suggests a random more suited opponent that would train better or safer. Such as:
You believe/think/feel certain/are certain that a (CRITTER) would prove a better defensive/offensive opponent.
Just my two cents but I think it would really be cool to have something like that, maybe it could have another skill check other than appraisal. It could also help newer players, or people who don't know critter progression as well, find their next challenge or training area.

It would make figuring out what else to hunt a lot easier with something like this and it could also be a neat scholarship-based skill. I'd really like something like this!
Alternatively, if it's too hard to work the information into appraisal, how about adding it to the recall details?

I think this idea would be great, although I highly suspect that it would be quite difficult to actually implement. I doubt it would be that easy to poll the database of creatures for suggestions. Even if possible it would likely be hard to do in a meaningful way given the sandbox style of experience progression we have.
