Maybe I missed the post about it, but I happened to notice sigil harvesting help in the PERCEIVE HELP verb today. Did it accidentally slip out? I'm excited to start working my Enchanting skill soon. This was on my Paladin:

USAGE:
As a magic user, you can type PERCEIVE, CONCENTRATE or POWER to determine the mana available for your spells. As you get more skill, you'll also be able to sense mana in neighboring areas.
As a sigil harvester, you can type PERCEIVE SIGIL to try and locate sigil patterns in the area. Your skill with arcana, perception and outdoorsmanship will help with this effort. Multiple attempts will be required to identify primary and secondary sigils for you to further clarify or scribe.
It is also possible to PERCEIVE SIGIL DANGER to identify any warping of the sigil representation that may increase the danger of scribing.
Options Available (most are skill dependant):
PERCEIVE AREA - Checks the room for spells in effect.
PERCEIVE SELF - Checks the evasion penalty and spells in effect on you.
PERCEIVE ALL - Checks everything you are able to sense.
PERCEIVE <item> - Checks charges on a blessed weapon.
A help file update probably just got updated at some point and was inadvertently rolled out.

Yeah this slipped out :( We're so far along.. just need another week on Shaping then I can finish up Enchanting.

It bodes neither way for it. After sitting on the spell for a year we changed our minds about not releasing it - it's still useful for the arcana bonus and if people don't want to get it at this time, that's not really a problem.

It sounds like things didn't progress as well as Kodius had hoped back in January; however, since it seemed so close in January (at least for sigil harvesting), and it was brought up again indirectly for AE, is there any chance you could provide a quick (or detailed, if you prefer :) update on where this is currently at?

Actually, as an aside, the last note I saw on the boards related to adding GameMasters was the middle of last year. Is there any want/need and available training time for additional coders that could lighten the load on the more experienced coders for the more time-intensive systems? This is something I might be interested in. I have very little professional coding experience, but I've been a wizard on other MUDs before and have a decent amount of scripting knowledge that may be useful.
As always, many of us appreciate your efforts and any updates you can provide.

It never hurts to apply but we usually only do one gm class at a time and we have one now. I'm not sure when the next round will be. Maybe six months?
