The Simple Tailored Defensive Designs and Complex Tailored Defensive Designs techs mention creating "slings," but I don't see Slings listed anywhere on the Epedia Tailoring products list. Is this an Elanthipedia oversight, or is there actually no way to craft slings in the game?
Also, assuming there is (or will be) a way to make slings, will there be a way to make a forked staff through the Shaping (or Carving) discipline and then attach a player-crafted sling to it and have a staff sling?

Slings will be able to be craftable whenever Kodius gets a chance to write them up and release them. I have a good feeling they are waiting on Shaping and the Bows rewrite so that he can balance them only once.

I've heard no plans, but that would be something to email to him so he has it when it comes time to release slings.
