I want to preface this by saying I do NOT want to discourage anyone from adding things, I would much rather have crazy formatted stuff, rather than nothing.

That being said, I noticed a lot of the armor data was not being added to Epedia using the correct format (mainly because we only just now developed it).

For those interested, please base your pages off: http://elanthipedia.org/w/index.php/Coarse_leather_armor and http://elanthipedia.org/w/index.php/Armor:Coarse_gloves_(crafted)

Beautiful. That's exactly how I imagined doing all those from the beginning but I wasn't sure how to pull it off with my limited wiki-knowledge. Glad to see it done this way now and hopefully I can get some more data to put up correctly in the future.

Nice, I really like it.

Cloth sure is crazy tho, lol, so many types and four thicknesses each.

What about a density field?

I guess weight kinda covers that, but it'd probably be something i'd glance and be glad I don't have to take 3 seconds to do the math.

Actually never mind that, it would probably only make sense for metal, and even then people are probably using pretty standard mixes... lightened metal, weighted metal... mid-steel, high-steel.

For all intents and purposes, thickness is density.

Is there any reason to include all of the skin types instead of just the ones that would be practical for armor? We don't have tables for weapons made out of iron or brass or anything like that. Why would anyone want to know what deer-skin armor looks like when gargs are so much better?

Or maybe they could just be grouped into separate tables depending on their best stat: physical, thermal, electrical, etc.

>>Is there any reason...

There's no explicit need to list them, but at the same time people might just be curious.

>>Or maybe they could just be grouped into separate tables depending on their best stat: physical, thermal, electrical, etc.

Maybe set them up as sortable tables. We already do that on the materials page itself.

Having all the various outcomes also may allow us to more accurately discern the possible outcomes of yet-unknown materials.

I thought I had. Hmmm, I'll go back and check, but not all the items have been converted over (some people picked really odd ways to list items).
