I have a small amber-scale shield that I assume is a leather Tailoring product. But I can't seem to get either metal or non-metal repair places (Catrox, Randal) to fix it.
Is it a bug? Is it intended that crafted shield is not fixable by NPC? Is there another place I don't know of that will repair it (I'm limited to Zoluren, atm)?

Try typing appraise my shield careful. (or maybe analyze my shield - i'm not ingame at the moment so I can't remember if that works on shields or not) Randal (and any other leather repair) should be able to repair it thereafter. If that doesn't work, Assist.

Thanks, after I analyzed it Randal is now willing to repair it. I've appraised it, though not carefully, plenty of times before, so analyze is probably the key action there, whether you get any info out of it or not.

This appears to be a type of finished tanned shield.
