When appraising very rare woods that have been turned into bows. 600+ appraisal is not getting information but just "guesses" on information. Testing with forged weapons and tools of higher difficulty I can see all the data.

I'm assuming it has to do with how wood is handled on the back end as I can see all the information on more difficult weapons/tools made with very rare metals.

I believe that and skill in Bows, as well. Or one or the other.

If it works anything like analyze, crafting appraise uses your appraisal skill and the relevant crafting skill versus the coin value of the item (and only the coin value).

But I don't think we've had a breakdown of how this works in a couple of years.
