This boards gotten way to quiet and dusty ...ibec sneezes... I am gonna keep lobbing for one thing in particular. Give Dirge a major role in this system.
Its been ignored way too long. Would make a perfect mining town maybe have some quarries too. I'm gonna keep pushing for this till i see it happen :)
Oh when can we see some updates on the system.
There are alot of people interested. Maybe a GM player chat on mining could be arranged. Just a thought.

There's also the future possibility of stumbling across an underground network of caves with all its own creatures and treasures. A sixth province, potentially.

soon followed by the 7-12 provinces on the as yet unexplored Gorbesh continent. I mean, come on! If they can invade us we can invade them!

<wobbles> Stop! You're getting me all excited.

But I think it will be a hot day in Albaria before they create a whole Albarian continent for us to explore. I predict at most, we may see a small portion, but not all.

Possibilities are infinite- Imagine raising a war party for it all. Traders would play the supply logistics (Spare gear, loads of herbs that might exclusive to the known provinces, food for the horses, horse trains...) The empaths would be a major commodity to be defended from an enemy incursion into the camp, ships that could be burned if not defended or sent back (Thus stranding the army)Clerics as vital as the empaths because, until something is built and consecrated, there is no depart. (Plays into necromancy and Ressurection beautifully, Soloman.)
A fortress would be built over a set course of days by phantom peons- no one wants to script pounding nails- but that fortress must be defended from attacks while it's built, doesn't it?
Paladins, Barbarians and Warmages at the frontlines with Moonmage support. Thieves slip into the cities to wreck havoc on the enemy before a siege is even started. Rangers flanking enemy troop movements and harassing them while they slept.
Of course, it would take a whole new set-up like the fallen and the army would be transferred over for the duration.

And to the topic at hand- Ores for forging are an awesome thing to mine!

I want to Mine ........ I want to go into a cave and come out months later with a ton of ore that I can smelt into weapons of mass destruction. Someone work on mining or atleast have a GM look into it.

Grimslayer that thinks all dwarves should live underground even the rangers!
