Seriously...yes. It will be joined by the Alchemy skill(about time!!).

I'm not clear on the ETA(May? ::squints at Fial::) best I have, for now, is...ya ready?....SOON!

Actually, I do believe that Fial said it wouldn't be a skill in it's own right. It would be based on other skills and stats, and I think Fial said something about a tracking thing. So if you mine more, you get better at it.

Note: Nothing I say is fact. Only guessing.

Mining itself with just be a system without a skillset that will work primarily from several skills. However, I do believe Fial said sometime in the future there will be a smithing skill. I do not believe the two are related though.

I think they're very related. After all, someone has to process the ore, right? By the way, smithing will probably come out in May.

phew. good thing it wont be a lore skill...

could just imagine traders and moonies as the best miners of the realms... now that would make a lot of sense.

Don't you mean Traders and Empaths? Moonies are Magic primary, like War Mages and Clerics...
