How about when you reach a certain arbitray level in teaching say 200 or an arbitrary circle say 50th, you make a contract to tutor someone well below your ability or circle, again arbitrarlly 100 ranks or 25 circles.

You would be able to tutor your student at all times as long as you are both in game. It wouldn't matter what either of you were doing or even if you are in the same area. The learning rates would probably have to cap out well below mind lock but that is again arbitrary.

I could see it as a combination of albredine rings, high-end mental magic (moon mage magic, similar to how 'moon mages' teleport coin and vaults).

Heck, I can even see it getting an interesting twist: if you take a noblemans kid, they pay the fees, but the kid is a snot who doesn't want to listen to you often, you have to have a high WvW save to learn much teaching off him; otherwise he pretends to pay attention enough to get you and his daddy off his back.

Or you could pay all the fees and get some commoner kid who wants to join a guild some day, and he hangs on your every word, does his studies religiously, etc.

There are already abilities that provide a deeper connection to another person, but naturally they are limited to certain guilds and maybe have more restrictions on top of that (empaths and their one-way link, for example.) Assuming that these abilities can be exported into an enchantment, why can't teaching classes extend along these avenues?

Alternatively, maybe classes can extend through the gwethdesuan channels (for simplicity, let's assume that the gweth operates like a DSL line filter that automatically suppresses the teaching pulse). Teacher would be limited by concentration (the cost of which would multiply based on the number of students listening?), and perhaps the learning would only be half as good (can't see the gestures or illustrations).

J'Lo, I'm a ranger.. I'd believe anything.....
