why cant there be charts and stuff we can study to become a beter teacher just like Firstaid... it seems only logical.

The reason is the basis for why non-bards can't affect you when they scream at you. Or, as a non-Barbarian, why the best effect they can produce from a dance is a small bump to devotion.
