All,

In the recent past, how the funding systems would work were so far down the line that I have not closely analyzed the possibilities for dues, loans, etc. Therefore when charters have been submitted I have looked to see that you mention it and have not over-analyzed the specifics. We have been able to work through limitiations and abilities in regard to those systems now, and that requires some modifications from pretty much everyone.

Each of you, if there was an issue, should have an email from me detailing out what needs to change. These changes need be done ASAP. I do not expect, nor desire, a full charter rewrite sent in to me. However, please email me your decisions / changes, as soon as you can come to a decision. Save the charter submission for the full-blown one as we get into things. In general, for those that are forming charters etc:

Dues: Dues must be set at a fixed rate per member. I am investigating whether they can be set to start at a particular circle level, or whether they will be required from the day of induction into the order, regardless of any other factors. The result of this "investigation" will depend on system abilities. But, one thing I know for certain is that there cannot be variable rates per circle, etc. Each member must be held accountable for the same amount monthly.

Loans: Loan rates must be static. They must also be clearly defined and not "subject to terms at the time of application". We will not be able to set it to increase the rate if x time passes either.
