Calling all troupers, it's that time again.
The Tavern Troupe Performing Order is having its General meeting at 10 pm Eastern at the Half Pint Inn in Crossing. If you're sponsoring someone, please make sure to let them know where and when so they can attend as well.
The Tavern Troupe General meeting is required for all Troupers, so if you're not able to attend please contact Roxana and tell her why.

Does anybody really know what time it is? Does anybody really care?
As you may recall, several months ago a contest to design a war memorial was announced. The memorial is intended to commemorate all people, military and non, citizen and not, that have lost their lives in the defense of Zoluren. Its scope was to be the last three major wars: Gorbesh, Sorrow and Outcast.
After much anticipation, we have learned that the War Memorial Dedication is planned for August 11, 2006, on the secular calendar at 9:30 p.m. Elanthian time on the Town Green in The Crossing. Glizten will be offering up prayers of dedication and Senior Court Poet and Tavern Troupe Councilor Gylee will be performing in song at the Memorial's unveiling.
As I recall holidays (with the help of Xanzie and Chabelle, Thanks Ladies!) we find that the next holy week will be in honor of Everild on day 92 of this year. The secular holiday of Day of Mourning occurs around the same time, starting on day 92 which is the same week of the War Memorial Dedication.
I wish to hold a General Troupe Meeting on August 10, 2006 (secular calendar) at the Rest of Ages Inn in Leth Deriel at 9:30 p.m. Elanthian. The theme of the meeting will be Everild and the Day of Mourning. Please bring your best bardic performance (song, dance, poetry, and/or story) to share with the Troupe. I realize that not all of you may make it due to otherworldly issues but please make an effort to come and have fun, meet the new members, Troupe Councilors and Officers. There will be food, drink, the contest, games with prizes and good fellowship.

I apologize. The schedule I posted regarding the War Memorial Dedication is unconfirmed at this time. Please wait for the public announcement to be made concerning the War Memorial Dedication. However the Tavern Troupe Performing Order will still have a General Meeting on August 10th as posted and declared. The Contest Theme will be regarding the secular holiday "Day of Mourning" and the god Everild.

Thank you to everyone that came and participated in the "Day of Mourning" General Meeting. I had a very good time and hope you enjoy your gift. All the bardic presentations were great! Chabelle won the overall presentation. Especially fun were our temporary titles taken from the "Title" worksheet submitted to the Office of the Provincial Administrator of Orders.
We had guests that are interested in joining our little Performing Order and three special freinds, Shavay, Useff, and Meidori that "judged" our contest.
Be thinking of our next General Meeting to be held September 8th, place to be determined. The theme will be "Horsin' Around!" and will consist of a contest of games that can be played at parties, receptions, etc.
