I saw it last night and it was sooooo good. Way better than the Two Towers. I don't think there's much to find fault with in this one if you liked the first two movies. The battle scenes were amazing.
On the other hand, the nit-picky will find nits to pick, I did it myself, but overall this was a great end to the film trilogy.

I managed to get tickets to a members only screening at the American Film Institute's Silver Theater thanks to a friend of mine who is an AFI member by virtue of working for the ISP that hosts the AFI's web site.

I believe KCET, a Los Angeles PBS station, was sponsoring a specail advanced showing of "Lord of The Rings: The Return of King" in Palm Springs to those who were fortunate enough and wealthy enough to buy the tickets and happened to see the ad.
