I desire to build an DR Map App that can be dynamically updated with coordinates, room descs, creatures, traps, hide/no hide, combat/no combat stats etc.
Ideally it would be hosted on my web server, but I suppose I could do Map Database release packs or something, for the people that want it local.
Question 1)
VB/C#/ASP.NET? Listed in order of Easiest to Difficult to me.
Question 2)
Anything already out there like this? (No need to re invent the wheel)
Question 3)
Would this even interest anyone?

The premium version of the warlock front end will have an automapper. Its already partially implemented. It wont do exactly what you want right now but its always being added to. www.warlockfe.com if you want to help out or give ideas. The developers and some testers are also very active in #warlock on freenode.
As an aside, they just did their first alpha release for windows, linux, and mac osX. Everyone go check it out!

The mapping feature is part of the 'premium' package idea they're working on. Its only being tested internally to them at the moment as far as I know. You might be able to get access to it if you ask in IRC.

I really like how Warlock is turning out. Reminds me I need to go visit them on IRC one day soon.

They're a great bunch of folks. I stumbled across the client when their community manager Kassah registered at WoE to promote the client. I was impressed and setup a small area for him to post updates and for WoE members to get support.
I highly recommend popping into their IRC. There's usually always someone there. Very active.
