I've noticed Elanthipedia has been MIA the past few days. Problems with the hosting company?

I never realized how much I rely on Elanthipedia in my day to day playing. I feel like I've lost my left arm without it. I want to thank you for providing this service to our gaming community.

>Wait a minute, how do you search the forums?!
It involves a combination of brute-force site searches, manually paging through topics, and your browser's Find operation. It is useful to have a good sense of the key words and phrases associated with the topic you are looking for, and the forum IDs of particular persons prone to have weighed in on a subject.
It helps immensely to have read or skimmed the information at some point, and while it is possible to find information you are not sure exists, it is significantly more laborious. The forum organization is far from optimized, topics have a hard limit on the number of posts they can display (only a GM can consult posts before this limit), and several topics exist only for dubious archival purposes and contain nothing but nostalgia and depreciated information. Write your congressperson.
More on topic: Horoscopy would also be useful, but it is very rare you know the date a particular post may have been created, let alone the time or place it was posted at.

If the downtime made you realize how much you rely on Elanthipedia, please consider making a donation. Even a dollar or two is helpful to offset hosting fees.
