There you go, Brasil beat China in a show of sheer "Brasilience"!

I can give credit where it's due, and it was due in a bucket full!

Congrats

Hear hear!

The cool thing about it, is that I travelled to Canada to watch this game with some friends, friends of friends, and friends of friends of friends, so we had about 150-200 people watching this game, but we all got together at 5:30 in the morning, when we watched my second favorite team beat Italy, 2 - 1.

Ecoles.

PS: I think the referee was harder on Brasil this time too, because of the Rivaldo thing, being discussed in the other topic.

Understandable really, so there really is no place for cheating in the beautiful game, especially if you play as well as Brasil did. (we won't say anything about the fiasco of the last world cup final) ;- )

Fiasco? We lost one game, we beat every single opponent but France.
Everyone eventually looses..and we saw France go down this cup, didnt even score once. Besides , we have four shiny stars on our shirt.. anyone else did that? Oh well it's life isnt it.
:P

Italy has three. If all goes well for the rest of the cup, and they take down Mexico, which more then likely will happen, they will get their 4th.

We should put our flag on the uniforms then we'd have 50 stars, and some stripes to boot. =P Nyah!

If that would be the case, Brasil has 27 + the 4's, and unlike the American flag where all the stars are uniform, Brasil's flag has the stars according to the number of states and they account for the stars seen on the Brasilian sky.

Anyways, in relation to Italy's 4th star... Even if they do beat everyone in their way, which is unlikely, the fact of the matter is, that Brasil still has it's 4 also, and were also the first country to achieve both the third and the fourth tournament titles.

Umm ok what's wrong with being uniform and the US flag has stars according to the number of states, hence the 50.... umm yeah.

Nothing wrong... just that those stars wouldn't count for the stars we are talking about.

You guys rings, that's fine and dandy, the rest of the world uses stars

Also, Italy doesn't have 5 players, who are injured/carded out.

Italy advances barely. Then I took a look at the Linesman and Refs. No wonder they were called for all those offsides. They are all Brazilians.

It is a conspiracy, they don't want to see another Italy v Brazil final.

Heh...

Brasil - 11 goals, and took 3.

England - 3 goals and took 3

And why ya gotta be that way. The referee was Brasilian, but the linemen were Malasian, and they the ones that call offsides.

Referee : Carlos Simon (Brazil)

Linesmen: Jorge Oliveira (Brazil), Mat Lazim Awang Hamat (Malaysia)

I think the one from Brazil did the offsides calling all the time. <hums>
