So...We have this guy who's on what we call 'red crew' which is a group of guys who've screwed up so much that they're being thrown out of the Navy. They do odd jobs about base, such as scrub metal stairwells with toothbrushes, rake the skipper's lawn, etc. You know, easy work. Anywho-
This guy decides not to go to work yesterday. So they send a buddy of mine, EM2 Kagells and I, to go look for him. Kagells and I head to his barracks room, and discover him passed out drunk, locked in his roomate's closet. We're like...'The hell?' So, we walk out silently, close the door, and go get like, 30 people to come 'wake him up'. We open his room door again, head to the closet...and he's gone. Vanished out of thin air. Finally we find him, cowering behind the door in the bathroom hoping we wouldn't notice.
Apparently, he was so drunk he thought he could hide behind the door and not be seen. And fyi, he's a little over 5'6 and goes around 275ish. Not a chance in hell. Heh. All kinds of fun, took 2 MAs, me, and EM2 to bring him down in cuffs. What a day.
(For the record, I'm not on red crew, I'm a superviser....and I still can't spell worth a damn!)
