Oh my. There are a couple of terribly un-flattering pictures of me, but I'm not entirely surprised. I'm so tempted to say "get rid of those," yet at the same time leaving them up are a testament to what happens when you let the bartenders design their own drinks.

Amen. I told them to pour me a surprise shot on my way out of the suite Saturday night. Biggest. Mistake. Ever. I couldn't even drink my beloved brandy hours later when I woke (and sobered) up. God. And over the course of the evening they perpetuated a continuous series of atrocities in my glass, an egregiously heinous string of crimes against Bacchus. My first mistake was asking them for a "mixed drink." Next year it's Sahara martinis all the way ("What's a Sahara martini?" "Real dry, man."). In fact, the dearth of embarassing photographs, more than anything else, testifies to the quality of the bartending.

(I'm kidding. The guys were great, although I had this massive negative rapport with Deon.)

I'll have to bring a camera to SimuCon (so that others can catch me in flagrante delicto).
