Odd little quirk just happened as I circled from 16 to 17. Below is a (partially) edited log:

Note I started with 412 TDPs, circled to 17 (should be 100+17) for a total of 529 TDPs. I however appear to have received 118. As you can see from the log, no skills ranked during this time (no TDPs added from skill pool). Admittedly it's only 1 extra TDP, just a little odd.

[Ratha, Port Walk]
An alley heads north from the walk, toward the streets where one needn't watch where one steps. Here, the holes in the plank walk, the raised boards, and the slippery but unidentifiable patches along the way all demand attention.

The strong odor of seawater drowns out any other smells at this end of the street. The road slopes down to the south, passing between two warehouses of moderate size before joining the Port Walk. Lazy seagulls float effortlessly on the heavy air. You also see a stone pile and an open crate.

This section of the street is nearly barren of people. The backs of buildings and shops create a jagged, windowless alley. A lone S'Kra Mur hurries away, looking over his shoulder.

Shabby buildings pack the street here, though it doesn't appear that there is a single shop among them. The structures stand out away from the sheer cliff face that confines the city to the west. A few of the beaten up old buildings look to have been recently painted.

Gor'Togs fill this section of the street, wandering from run-down shop to run-down shop. Nobody appears to be happy, though everyone is busy. A Gor'Tog woman carrying a crying young baby smiles apologetically and hurries away. You also see a small smoke-stained shop.

The Gor'Togs here are poorly dressed but still appear somewhat dignified. Some shoeless children chase each other around the legs of their elders, managing to have fun despite the poverty they live in. You also see an abandoned mud brick shanty, a sun-bleached ash frame house and an abandoned baked grey clay house.

A mostly-intact fence completely severs the north and south sides of this area. The gate has long since been torn down, and the well-traveled road passes directly through. You also see an abandoned unremarkable hovel.

The road narrows sharply as it delves between several close-standing buildings. Piles of discarded items fill all available space, and trash is strewn freely across the road. The few people in sight are dirty and sad-faced, many simply sitting down, others wandering aimlessly. You also see an empty hovel.

The street splits around a large statue placed directly in the center of this run-down square. Old and worn out buildings line the streets, and the few Gor'Togs here are dressed very poorly. Even other 'Togs seem to be avoiding this area. You also see an abandoned pine-shingled house, an abandoned olivewood plank house and a dilapidated limestone building set back a short distance from the road.

[Barbarian Guild, Great Hall]
A musty dampness pervades this cavernous room, and a faint salt breeze flutters down from a gaping hole in the roof where decades of neglect have caused the weathered beams to collapse. Faint smudges of paint on the peeling plaster walls evidence the prior existence of proud frescoes, but all that now remains is the occasional hint of a sword arm raised in combat, and the grimace of a dying warrior disembodied from his once-glorious likeness. You also see a tarnished bronze stand with a large salt-stained scroll on it, an arch and the Barbarian Guildmistress Anhh'shre.

"Do not get soft now, for you are barely along the path to your true potential. But if you work, sweat and bleed, your enemies shall face an entire army in the rage of a single man!"

"We shall make a good Barbarian of you yet, or kill you trying eh?" Anhh'shre bares her fangs in a sardonic smile.


Anhh'shre adds, "Your progress is acceptable, XXXX. You've proven yourself ready to learn a new roar, or perhaps a battle cry. If not one that I teach, then seek guidance elsewhere."
