I added a few more chain armor templates and fixed up the pliers not working properly. I'm still looking for a way to recreate the reclaiming bug where it fails to message and spits out an unusable ingot. Appreciate any more info you can give me!

I don't think that is very likely. Probably something with the mixes used to make the shields, or the type of shields resmelted. Hard to say without more information.
