So. I have been in super celps (north barricade) for some time and switched to dancing Dragon for the offensive boost to get my LE and ME skills up. At the time I started, they were probably 430-ish. Dancing Dragon, I've died anywhere from 10 to 20 times per day, every day.

When my LE and ME ranks got over 500, I decided I would switch to Badger to see if A. I could kill super celps with 500 ranks in LE... B. If dancing Badger would slow down my weapons training at all because of a lack of offensive boost... and C. If I could manage to die a lot less than I had been dying while dancing Dragon.

The results were surprising.

A. Yes I can kill super celps with LE, ME, and brawling just over 500 ranks
B. No, my weapons didn't slow down at all, in fact I'm maintaining a slightly higher mindstate on all 5 weapons, though I suspect this is from stancing Parry because I'm not killing them quite as quickly.
C. Instead of 10 to 20 times a day dying, I now die maybe once in a 24 hour period.

Conclusion:

I'll be sticking with Badger.

I only dance dragon now when I want to kill super fast. I almost always use badger while hunting.

I haven't noticed much boost yet in Dragon. Then again, I only just got it 2 circles ago, and haven't done a TON of testing with it yet. But I've found what seems to be for me more apparent offense boost from a blood/stone stack. I'm not one of the tester types, so I don't have any thing other than my own vague observations to offer as evidence. Still, from strictly an IF usage standpoint, a blood/stone stack gives more to me than dragon at this point.

For hunting, I go with eagle+retreat spam for ranged, blood/stone/nightmare stack for melee.

For PvP, berserking seems kinda suicidal against anything that hides or otherwise contests int/wis, so I'd probably use eagle+retreat spam or dragon.

It would be nice if I could take the retreat spam out, since I specifically chose HT and HX for the shield compatability, but since our ranged boost can't be used with defense boosts...

SWG: A shining example of how not to do it.
