This may have already been suggested before. I have noticed i can lock my parry, armor, evasion, and two or so weapons pretty easy i would like to see a meditation that when we took a break from hunting we could learn faster and drain our mind a lot faster in the areas of weapons and defense that would help me a lot hunt then rest a minute then hunt again without waiting all that time for my mind to clear if i really wanted to learn something fast.

Think he's off the mark anyway...RPAs, do rpa help while in the game, I believe help you fill your pool faster, aka learn faster not drain faster. At least that's what seems to be the case for me.

An RPA is basically a wisdom-like bonus, to quote damissak(he replied to a post that stated someone used RPAs to get over wall ranks and he said its a waste of an RPA that way)

If it was a wisdom-like bonus it wouldn't be a waste to get over wall ranks as it would help one drain faster, it helps one learn faster, fill the field experience pool faster.

No, you see the wall cycle works to exponentially decrease how effective wisdom is at draining your pool....so your RPA is worth less and less the closer to a wall rank you are.

Since I am such a leet roleplayer, I did some testing on RPAs.
First there are four levels of potency.
Second as near as I can tell it doesn't effect your pool itself, rather it lets you drain more per pulse and it seems not to boost your wisdom, but rather boost the % that you drain. I have the spreadsheet on my other puter (if you want to remind me later drachus). Now what I mean by that is this, it appears the RPA takes whatever your pulse would be and multiplies it by some factor(which varies according to potency)...ie if you drain X% typically, using your RPA would let you drain RPAboost*X%. Now since RPAboost is constant if your X% drain is on a wall rank(ie very small) your actual benefit would be the least.
This is why it is was referred to as wasting a RPA since the net gain from your RPA is determined by how much your intial pulse is. I don't agree with that statement though, I find it more wasteful to have to spend 20 hours on a wall rank than 15.
