As a side note, I said there was a minimum offhand skill requirement. I didn't say it was necessarily the same as the weapon requirement.

While to me WW will always be a last ditch maneuver because the defensive penalty it leaves you with is death waiting to happen at higher hunting levels... this was a bit fun. The messaging doesn't show much specifically but there were 4 test subjects and each was hit twice. My assumption is that it worked. 325 ranks of offhand.
You assess your combat situation...
You (solidly balanced) are facing a juvenile desert armadillo (3) at melee range.
A juvenile desert armadillo (1: off balance) is behind you at melee range.
A juvenile desert armadillo (2: very badly balanced) is flanking you at melee range.
A juvenile desert armadillo (3: very badly balanced) is facing you at melee range.
A juvenile desert armadillo (4: extremely imbalanced) is behind you at melee range.
(You are also defending against a juvenile desert armadillo.)

Would that even technically work? I mean you have to specify your foe when you SLICE <person>....?

Speaking of that, the whole having to enter in the character's name is such a bother. Even though I've already accounted for it in my macros, I'm curious on why you can't just attack whatever you're facing, period? Whether it be creature or player.

Yeah it kinda works like an AOE spell, except only within the range of the weapon your holding (so Melee or Pole, with a pole ranged weapon)
Therefore anything in this range is liable to get hit (even in hiding)

I can see that happening, I know an Empath named Ogoh that gets attacked/casted on whenever he goes through Ogres when people don't fully spell out Ogre. Poor guy.
I am not sure why if you engaged to someone you simply cant SLICE/FIRE/CAST but that would be neat addon.

DANG! 188 in off hand and I cannot pull it off.. Ah well I am 2he primary anyway. I guess I am stuck with the following:
>whirl
With a quick two step motion you ready your greatsword, holding it at shoulder level before launching into a turn that renders you as nothing more than a shade of dissolution.
Your vicious greatsword lands an apocalyptic strike to an asaren celpeze's chest!
The asaren celpeze's chest heaves slowly and it emits a rasping hiss before finally lying still.
Your vicious greatsword lands an extremely heavy hit to an asaren celpeze's left arm!
The asaren celpeze is dealt a vicious stun!
Your vicious greatsword lands a heavy strike to an asaren celpeze's left hand!
The asaren celpeze is knocked completely senseless!
Your vicious greatsword lands an apocalyptic strike to an asaren celpeze's chest!
The asaren celpeze's chest heaves slowly and it emits a rasping hiss before finally lying still.
Your vicious greatsword lands an apocalyptic strike to an asaren celpeze's head!
The asaren celpeze's chest heaves slowly and it emits a rasping hiss before finally lying still.
Your vicious greatsword lands an apocalyptic strike to an asaren celpeze's neck!
The asaren celpeze's flared crest wobbles, then collapses as the celpeze falls over and lies still.
[You're nimbly balanced]
Roundtime: 6 sec.
Hitting everything at melee and pole. I LOVE my pole ranged greatsword!

Okay don't stone me to death for this, but just exactly how do you even train offhand skill. Bear in mind I've been gone from DR for a little over a year so I'm kinda out of the loop. I've got all of 9 ranks in it and have no clue how. Class maybe? I like the whole idea behind it, just really don't know how to train it...
