Heh, there was some buggy-ness with the pit here and there. I knocked Rikulf to unconscious once and it dragged him out of the pit like he lost, but it didn't take me out or give me points. I tried to get someone to come in the pit so I wouldn't have to "flee." Carnul took up the offer as long as I went no evasion/no parry all shield and brawled. No roars either. The fight of the night had to go to under 20ths Sadique and Matt though, that was awesome.

PS-Sorry to hear the news Iayn, I know there's a lot of people that will miss you and your work.

Dragging on unconsciousness is to avoid the vitality death.
The no points for vitality deaths or unconsciousness is intended, I forgot to mention it as a change. You don't lose points though.
Kill them decisively for points!

Oh nice, didn't know it was intented. Does that mean that leaving the pit after someone is dragged out from vit death/unconsciousness doesn't take away points, i.e. the "flee" penalty?

There should only be a penalty for fleeing if someone else is in the pit, so if your opponent is dragged away due to unconsciousness, you can safely leave the pit.

No Clynlyn on that list. :(

I'll see if he is up for it tomorrow. Haven't had any problems with the pit though luckily after the incident with Navak/Soleran and Grungy/Clynlyn matches.

From what I can tell those were treated as vitality deaths which don't award point or a purse and aren't a win. We set it up that way on purpose, but on further thought I think we will be moving vitality deaths to wins with points and purses awarded.

Would it be too complicated to separate them out point wise?

Like, half points and purse for vitality death win versus decisive victory.

For the fights in the Crossing pit, keep an eye here. For the fights I have planned up in Theren starting next saturday, keep an eye to the therengian events folder.
