Are the numbers for Total Music Skills right? They don't seem to make sense to me.
Am I missing something?

Well, that total does not include things like teaching, scholarship and other lores, but only theory, vocals, winds, percussions and strings. At least the way I read it.

I think he was asking in referance to the fluctuation of the number itself, not so much that they were too high or anything.

I was concerned about the actual numbers.
For the 125th circle title, Harlequin the total is 2500, while the 150th title Composer Savant is only 2250. It would seem that those two numbers should be swapped, as the other 150th circle title, True Bard has a total of 2530, which would be in line with the requirement for Composer Savant, had the numbers been switched.

Correct. However it's clear that our guild-only titles, as well as many other guild-only titles, are based on the minimum requirements for various primary skills with other skills added where it makes sense.
I just have a feeling that those two numbers are mixed up, but wanted to have that confirmed. Aspiring Bards need to know!

When we came up with the skill reqs for the titles, we did start from the skills necessary for the circle the title was originally placed at. HOWEVER - we did not necessarily leave it at that. Some titles were moved around, switched with others, and so on.
Don't judge the numbers based on the original position of the title.
Though if composer savant were attainable at 5th circle, I'd agree that it'd likely be a problem.
