Yes, we need creative people to think up titles for enchantes that bards get. Just like the barbarians are getting titles for their roars, and dances, and berserks.
Just as an example... for the title Aura of Tongues... We should get access to a title that is suiting... like Interpreter.

Check out the Lore titles. You'll find Translator in there which requires Aura of Tongues as well as other ranks.

Hmm...would it be Translator or Interpreter? :grins slowly:
I know that those who know American Sign Language are called Interpreters, since sign, while it is a full, self-sufficient language, communicates through ideas and gesture phrases which are difficult to transliterate into direct English...Instead, the ideas are conveyed through the interpreter.
Just reading off the primary definitions of the two words from askoxford.com:
Translator - a person who translates from one language into another.
Interpreter - a person who interprets foreign speech orally.
I feel that the Interpreter title would better suit the Bards (in relation to their enchante) and the Translator title would be a scholarship-based title, since it more traditionally refers to the written translation of languages (dictionary.com defines it as a written translation process). Translator does have a secondary definition of interpreter (dictionary.com), but I like Interpreter better :grin:

Oh... and please, please please... can we not be timid when it comes to picking some awesome titles for our guild? Phoenix pyre for instance, I would love a title that incorporated the word Phoenix in it. It would only make sense.

<groans> Oh come on. We need to stop getting stopped by other developments when we try to branch out. This guilds development at times reminds me of a root encased in concrete trying to break free.
Having Phoenix as a word in one of our titles should NOT be a problem. The barbarians already have numerous god related titles specific to their guild.

As long as its unique, no, it shouldn't be a problem. I'll see if we can get some in there for a few more enchantes.

Any thoughts on Interpreter? I know my post is there cos I can read it...yet I didn't get but one reply to it :-P

Bardic illusions are now all auditory only, not visual. Moon Mage illusions will be via lightcrafting and such to create something visible.

Yes actually... but Illusionist isn't a new title. Moon Mages have had Illusionist for Years. Its one of the original titles even before they started making titles for circles over 90.
Illusions was slated to be one of their spellbooks and when the spellbook merchant came out if you hand a spellbook the illusion category popped up but was empty. Most their illusion spells aren't out yet, some are but it is mostly just light crafting.

Maybe some titles related to knowing all available enchantes in a given category... someone with more knowledge of musical terms could maybe think of something good. The only thing I can come up with is Romancer for Ballads and Romances. Could be some good title ideas hidden away in there. :)
