Robo mentioned his kid wearing his old Genesis concert t-shirt which he feels he can't wear anymore.
Anyone else have some like that?
I do (did, I should say). The wearable life-span on mine was cut short by the revelation that the duo were lip-syncing (I'm sure you know who it was now, too). And darn it, it was actually a good concert, too. :/ I think that t-shirt is long gone.
(Saw that concert at the old Richfield venue, Robo.)
Still have my Moody Blues t-shirts, though. And still wear them. :) (Blossom Music Center for those appearances)
Anyone else?

Brought back some great memories from the Coliseum. Rush, Def Leppard, Billy Squire, Foriegner, Billy Joel, Journey, the list is endless. Did you know they knocked that place down a few years back, and it was only 27 years old!! Now its just a huge empty field at the end of a off ramp to no were. We have to compare notes, I may have unsuccessfully tried to hit on you at one of those shows, except Buffett at Blossom. I was always lucky there.....
Or maybe.....hmmmm.

Hmmm...
US Festival '83. (New Wave Day. Danny Elfman, Stan Ridgeway, Mick Jones and Colin Hay on the same stage!)
DEVO 1989.
Cranberries' No Need To Argue tour.
Oingo Boingo's Hallowe'en 1995 show.
OzzFest '99.
Midnight Oil Capricornia tour.
Wolfsheim's Casting Shadows tour.
Of those, only Wolfsheim, OzzFest, and Hallowe'en are still in wearable condition. In fact, the Cranberries shirt is so deteriorated that it cannot be handled by normal means without devolving into component molecules. (And I really can't even get into the US'83 shirt. I was 9 at the time.)
And don't lets ask about the Oils shirt. Just don't lets ask.

Im an angry ex-concert T-shirt owner. I got robbed when I lived in Kansas City and the thieves stole my stereo, TV, VCR, all of my T-shirts (What the hell?), and my frozen pizzas and beer (and left the fridge wide open for several hours). I can understand the elctronics, even the pizza and beer (theiving isnt easy work Im sure), but the T-shirts? That's just bizarre to me.

Depending on what they were there's a high market for certain Tshirts. And on the discussion only T-Shirt I have from a concert that's still in wearable condition is my Pearl Jam Evolution Tour one.....oh to be that young again...::ducks::

Yep, we've driven by the site and seen it. It's kinda sad, but I guess that's the way it goes.
And I wasn't a huge concert-goer, really. That one unmentionable show at Richfield and three shows at Blossom - The Moody Blues (twice - with mom. Enjoyable bonding experiences. :) ), and Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber (with mom again, and one of my friends from high school).
And with all this reminiscing, I am now getting hungry for Barberton chicken. Dangit.

I'm such a t-shirt person. I think I'm most looking forward to starting to stay home with the kiddos (next year) just b/c it means I'll get to wear t-shirts and jeans during the week.
(Okay, so maybe that isn't the biggest reason, but I am a t-shirt and jeans type)
