Heyo!

We have one new enchante and several changes to old enchantes now available for testing. On the revised enchantes, please be sure to read through them all before panicking -- we've done a little reshuffling.

Harmony will be on Premium preview in all three instances. The rest will be live in Platinum and Prime only for the next few days until we are sure nothing major is broken.

Harmony (new release - Premium preview)

Harmony will resonate in the mind like a favorite song, enhancing your efforts physically, mentally, and lending grace to your movements. With it, you will find your thoughts and action blend in perfect harmony, greatly enhancing your combat prowess. The use of this enchante is not easy to master, and it may take quite some proficiency with your own abilities at sustaining the pattern of your song before you see marked results. It is said that those who sing the song quietly fare better in defense, while those who sing out loud and strong are relentless in the attack.

Dart's Notes: Harmony is the top tier of the combat enhancement enchantes, and it focuses on overall combat effectiveness. Unlike most enchantes, it is self-only, and while it is pretty comprehensive, the bonuses aren't as good as more specialized enchantes like Rage of the Clans or Naming of the Tears. Harmony does have a few fun little fluff features and a couple of Easter Eggs.

Demriss Resolve (revised)
- Nerve damage has been capped
- Chance of instant death removed

Aether Wolves (revised)
- Nerve damage has been capped
- Chance of instant death removed
- Chance of causing nerve damage increased
- Support for loud/quiet implemented. Playing the song quietly will only affect those engaged with the bard. Loud will affect everything outside the bard's group.

Merelews Legacy (revised)
- Decreased the effectiveness of fire resistance. It was simply too powerful given the pulsing nature of the enchante. It is still formidable.
- Will no longer automatically snuff Mantle of Flames. It will now merely reduce the remaining duration of Mantle based on the power of the song.
- Merelew will now provide some aid in swimming.
- Merelew now has loud/quiet support. When played quietly, it will only attempt to snuff MoF on things engaged with the bard.

Hodiernas Lilt (revised)
- Reduced the concentration regeneration aspect of the enchante.
- Lilt will now make tending wounds slightly easier.

Drums of the Snake (major revision)
- Removed the potential bonuses to Swimming, First Aid, Escaping, and Foraging. The former two were moved to enchantes where they make more sense.
- Drums is now more focused on activities that are heavily influenced by agility.
- Locksmiths may find that Drums of the Snake is once more a very useful song, if not entirely in the same way was once upon a time.
- Drums will still linger a short period of time after the song stops. However, the longer you play, the longer it will linger, although total time is capped.

- GM Dartenian

"So he buckled right in with a trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried, he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled that thing
That couldn't be done and he did it."
- Edgar Guest
