Do stats help with your ability to play instruments? Agility? Charisma?

I'm currently playing a set of spoons because they're waterproof. Any tricks? What else to you practice while playing, besides appraisal?

Pre 3.0, Charisma definitely helped with it and I can't think of a reason why it would have changed. It should be pretty simple to test with BLUFF AMAZE if you have it. Agility I'm not sure of, but if you know DRUM that too should be fairly easy to test.

Spoons are a great choice. Lots of people seem to like zills because they're also wearable. Other weatherproof instruments: stamping stick, whiskey jug. I am pretty sure anything that appraises as metal or ceramic/clay is weatherproof.

First Aid (compendium), rotating enchantes/cyclics. I've seen people run around climbing while playing too, but this seemed too silly to me.
