Newly returned and I am trying to get the hang of magic 3.0. Was curious as to what everyone seems to be hunting with and how much mana is used to see the spells being cast(how strange to say that) effectively.

What spells are you using while hunting? on 09/11/2013 11:55 AM CDT

I'm hunting right now, and I have the following spells up:
Naming of Tears
Drums of the Snake
Harmony
Manifest Force
Rage of the Clans
Echoes of Aether
Abandoned Heart
I also use Misdirection when I want to train hiding and Demrris' Resolve to help me work my lower weapons. I cast everything at cap, except for Demrris, which I snap at min.
Your buffs are helpful at any amount of mana, but more is always better. You'll need to find a compromise with not running out of mana, though.

I have a lower level bard, and I use the same list, with the following exceptions:
- no Echoes of Aether. Sometimes I use Will of Winter for the Discipline boost to help with hiding, but other than that the ritual spells are not worth the cost for me yet.
- Hodierna's Lilt or Aether Wolves instead of Abandoned Heart. This is mainly because I can't hit reliably with ABAN yet. I use AEWO for learning Debilitation, and Lilt when actually killing -- it's great for keeping my fatigue and vit in tip-top shape.

Question about AoE buffs on 09/12/2013 09:07 AM CDT
EPedia says that RAGE will pulse onto group; how are Barbarians presently affected by this? Does it stack (Say, with Dragon or Eagle Form, or RW)?
For that matter, how does the rest of our AoE buffs that pulse to group/room affect barbarians, stack with other things, and/or stack with our other buffs?

Xixist feels the rage in my group when I sing it.
I presume they stack on whatever else is going. I have never had anyone in my group complain. But outside my group, I have no idea, my area of effect songs have not worked outside my group since the sky fell. There are a large number of busted bards like this.
:(
I will ask him tonight about the other things. Although, honestly, he never complains...
