So, projecting forward, I'd like to set up some simple non-cyclic bard magic training scripts, rather than try to script cyclic start/stop/swap when 3.1 hits. I'll still use cyclics for the effects obviously. I'm just not going to use them to train.

I'm having trouble moving utility. Does anyone have a particular recommendation? Bard in question is level 2. I tried Ellie's cry, but while I was able to cast it, I suspect it doesn't grant refresh exp? It wasn't moving my utility skill, regardless.

Unless I'm missing something, that one's not even on the list, amusingly enough. And Ellie's cry is listed as aug/uti so I had thought...

the only one I'm really finding it hard to find a substitute for is DEMA. I love what it does in 3.0. I hate how its nerfed in 3.1. I don't know what I'm going to put in its place.
