I'm going to Vegas too. If any of you have questions you want me to ask of Mr. Raesh in person after I've funneled a bottle of booze into him, feel free to post here and I'll try to wring as much info out of him as possible. :)

1) Will Bards who haven't trained Targeted Magic be able to use Screams effectively?
2) Any idea on how restoring our combat Mojo(as opposed to social standing Mojo) will work?
3) (this one may be for Armifer or Zeyurn) Will we be able to perform magical enchantes on instruments like we have been able to in the past?

If you act today you might be able to save on the booze, my ride to the airport just called to wake me meaning my grand total sleep for the night after franatically trying to get everything done (Which I did. At least the bare minimum of what needed to be done) is somewhat south of two hours.
>>Will Bards who haven't trained Targeted Magic be able to use Screams effectively?
Yes, but not all (screams).
>>Any idea on how restoring our combat Mojo(as opposed to social standing Mojo) will work?
Yap.
>>Will we be able to perform magical enchantes on instruments like we have been able to in the past?
Correct this one is for Armifer and Zeyurn!

PS: My mind is a scary place. The dream I was woken from was a cross between Alterac Valley and an anti-Palin rally, and apparently I had a fairly good full on rant going. This was moments after being repeatedly ganked trying to leave the central graveyard to get back to defend our base (Horde of course!) because the Alliance hadn't bothered to cap it despite the fact that the front line had advanced beyond it (Even though the geography was all wrong for it to be Alterac Valley, with more of a Zul'Gurub theme, it was definitely Alerac Valley) Go figure?

You're the man Raesh!
P.S. I would make an official post/announcement about the Scream Targeted Magic Requirement if I were you, just so as to eliminate the pages and rivers of QQ threads on the forums because you'll be able to say, "But I told you ahead of time that you would need Targeted Magic to use damaging Screams, so you should have been training it all this time! Haha!"
I'm in luck because TM is almost my highest weapon skill but I know some other Bards who are going to be pretty pissed because they haven't touched TM :P

Let them scream about it . We have one of the easiest training mechanisms out there for piling up TM over time, it's a conscious choice that ought to have consequences (training it vs. not).

>>You're successfully learning TM using Pyre?
To be fair, I am too. The problem is finding creatures that aren't resistant to magic and/or fire. I can train TM at a reasonable rate using Phoenix's Pyre at over 800 ranks in TM.

I learn well using it, especially if I stack up with snapshots of STRA on top of it.
Grab a set of zills and you can swap percussion vs. vocals while using it too. Toss down some pyramids and yourself a stew goin'.

Oh oh, so my friend and I were talking and he mentioned it would be cool if the new Performance skill acted as Primary Magic for Screams, to create the following effect:
Spells
TM = Accuracy
PM = Damage/Higher Tier Effects
Screams
TM = Accuracy
Perform = Damage/Higher Tier Effects
So the more Performance you have is the more damage you do, and also the better effects/capabilities you unlock for each scream.
