Hello. I am an old spirit in a new body. This is my first time playing a Bard, and I have to say how impressed I am with the guild and it's collection of art. I would like to begin adding my own. Here is a song I will perform for the first time today. Feel free to use it as you please. All I ask is that you keep the title and lyrics the same and give me credit. Style and such are up to you. Also, lassies, feel free to make gender related changes as needed.

Tale of Any Bard

In my Bardic wanderings across Elanthia,
Towns and cities, I traveled far and wide.
Sometimes I sang, Somtimes I danced,
Sometimes I fought, and even, sadly, died.

I travel light across this land
A few coin jingling in my boots,
My instruments across my back
With a pick for my trusted lute.

I carry also sword and shield
If not, I'd be plain nuts.
We know a bard can't sing or play
If a spear runs through his guts

In my passings to and frow, I always sought
places rich in culture, magic, and love.
For a true bard is near powerless when
singing in the woods, alone, to just a dove.

I've played and sung to happy crowds
Some sadly lamenting ones as well.
And even onces a group of mages,
Who damned me straight to hell.

Through it all, women come and go,
I've loved and lost many a pretty lass
Sweet nights I've spent abed with them
Those that didn't toss me out on my ass.

The past, I've told up to this point, but
Longer road behind, leads to shorter road ahead
I hope I've many more songs to play,
But someday this bard will be cold and dead.

I have two wishes 'er that day comes
And I walk that starty road's last trip
First that day not come too soon and
Second I die with music on my lips
