I can see it add to Resolve's effect on creatures...they cower in fear from your mighty instrument. Oh, and your singing too.

Hey that would work as well...as long as they are in a heap at my feet. :P

If we got this, and it trained all the instruments at once, now that would be pretty cool.

I don't think it would train all instruments and vocals at once. Here's why. Holding it you have one free hand and one set of lips.
So you could sing and play strings.
You could sing and play baby clavichord. (keyboard)
you could play kazoo and strings
you could play kazoo and baby clavichord.
I suppose you could argue you take breaks from playing the kazoo part.
As for the dagger addition. I actually stabbed my toe a few years ago on that metal thing they put under big instruments to support them. I was moving my sisters' Bass around. Big 6' tall wooden instrument. YEOWTCH! So I could say on the bigger instruments you might be able to get a rapier weapon on the bottom of it, but wielding it would be ungainly.

For weapons on instruments including something like leather strips with 2" metal spikes along the sides might be a start if you felt the need to use your fiddle as a brawling weapon.
