I'm favored by a neutral aspect. I've "activated" about 12 crevasses now and all lava flows are either too light, dark or vague for my eyes. Am I doing something wrong, am I unlucky or could this be a bug? I'm having issues with casting Soul Bond on the MF quest as well.
<<The crevasse for me was translucent and shimmering, I dumped the blood on it and out came the viper. Sounds like bad luck so far for you. I can confirm it IS functional as of last night.
Thanks for the response, Shaidval. Can you confirm that you were able to complete the quest? I can get different colored vipers to show when I pour blood, but I cannot complete the quest because, regardless of color (black, white, blue-white), it is either too dark, light or vague for my eyes.

Because the crevasse bounces around the entire Fangs area, I'm sorry I can't confirm exactly where it was. It however was translucent and shimmering when I first found it. I waited for it to jump, found it again and it was still the same so I took the chance of wasting a blood and dumped it on it. When the viper came, I simply studied the crevasse and ran away from the angry mob of things trying to kill me. I had no issue.
You know, other than the angry mob. I can confirm I was at max devotion, not that I think that matters. I did complete the quest via that and began casting FOU without problems after finishing.
