I'm trying to remember the command I used to check to see if a branch (or stick) I've foraged has already been sprinkled with holy water and blessed. I thought it might have been perceive or focus, but none of them appear to show any change in the branch. Would appreciate the help. Thanks.

I think you can just carve it. Sticks won't carve unless they're blessed, will they?

And branches won't make blocks at all, I don't believe? I think it has to be a stick.

I used to have a script to carve beads, and I know for sure there at least was a command I had used to check to see if a stick/branch had been blessed.

What about just recasting bless, it's probably much quicker than whatever Roundtime you'll get for whatever command analyzes the stick? (Not sure what it even is)

Sticks or limbs IIRC

No, if I recall the messaging you got was only after you've sprinkled the object with holy water and then blessed it. Minus the holy water, I don't think the message appeared, so I used whatever command it was to check to be sure I hadn't used holy water simply to make sure I wouldn't waste holy water on it had I done so.

Ok, it was perceive but it didn't work with branches. Only sticks.

Before:

You don't detect anything unusual about the stick.

After:

The stick appears to be blessed.
