Growling like a dog latched onto a fresh kill, Navak's eyes dart about with the intensity of a ruthless predator!
>
Navak throws his head back and lets out a high-pitched roar, seemingly filled with battle madness.
You feel nervous and shaken, as if an lunatic were about to leap for your throat at any moment.
Ayrell and Lennede appear nervous and shaken.
>
Raising his voice with authority, Navak lashes out with the ferocity of a whipcrack.
You are stunned with fear!
Ayrell and Lennede appear shocked with fear.
>
Divine energy surges through you, clearing away the stun.
The tingling sensation leaves you.

Ayrell and Lennede laugh off Navak's pitiful attempt to scare them senseless.
You are still stunned.
Okay, so centering kicked in once and cleared the stun, I think anyway. But must be awful dang nice to be able to unleash those things like that. No prep time, just roar and roar.
Anyway, it does point to an issue of not having any more of long lasting mental defense in our arsenal. That is a rather blatant whole in a magic prime guild.
Oh, as a sidenote. I was working on Enstine who was dead at the time. Also in a rather remote area. So, yea, Navak and Meanne are definitely on my puke green list now. I was just about to gesture to raise Enstine when this roaring occured. If I am not mistaken. if I had raised him just before the roars may have killed him, yes?

Nope, only one roar can cause any type of damage and I don't know it.
No worries on the rest, just character stuff.

Side note here from a swamp shaman. In the past I have fought beside Navak and have enjoyed it. He makes a really good friend to have with you in battle. The key to handleing Navak is that he has to respect your character. If he does, you got it made, you could ask him give you a moment and he would break his neck or someone else to do it.
I know that some folks don't care for a lot of my friends IG but If Cadderrly likes them IG for IC reasons the value he places on friendship is HUGE. I have went from masapari to shard to help friends and thought nothing of it, still would. I would bet you my last Plat if IC I asked Navak to go with me to invade sky giants because <insert good reason X> he would do it. Sometimes trying situations can lead to some friendships never thought you would see. Some of my best thief friends is folks I have fought against and fought them to the point of mutual respect till we could RP it out and find a middle ground. Now they would make the same kind of walk I have made just to drag my sorry hide. A couple of them love to tag along durin invasions and snipe from the shadows even. Basically what I am saying approach situations with an open mind and sometimes you would be amazed at what can come out of them....

And in our defense, we were in the middle of RPing something out when Enstine got dragged into our room. I'm sorry a cleric was inconvenianced by it. Furthermore, Enstine's a sweetie and I appologize quite publically that he was incapacitated by any of our actions.
I'm just glad it is over now, and a fun night was had by (mostly) all.

You should see what happens when our powers combine to form Captain Kermoria...we only have enough power to form a captain of one continent unfortunately. Check back in a year and we'll let you know if we can captain a quarter hemisphere instead.

I really wasn't intending the sidenote to be the major aspect. I will however address a couple aspects of that part that occured. I am more interested in two things.
1) Why are we so exposed to mental attacks?
2) From my Aesry days and fighting moss meys I found that there is a point at extremely low health or spirit health where a further stun plain kills you. Now, this has probably been about 3 years ago. So, question is, is that still true? If it is true, then Enstine COULD have died from a futher stun if it happened right when he was raised.
Okay, now for the sidenote. I don't expect anyone on the boards to automatically decide to red list someone just because I posted that. If ya don't know IC, don't take it into the game. What I really intended for that to mean was that doing something such as roaring or messing with my character while raising or dealing with a dead body will get you puke green listed. That is where I draw lines on my choices for dealing with people that screw with my raising schtick.
A couple small details.
<< And in our defense, we were in the middle of RPing something out when Enstine got dragged into our room. I'm sorry a cleric was inconvenianced by it. >>
Oh, come now, be alot more honest in the telling there. I had already had time to run from the hollow to leucs, rejuce and find the spirit and soul bond, before you ever showed on the scene. Do not try to make it sound like we, as in my cleric and the body of Enstine just happened to show up in your room and were caught by accident. That is so categorically false. Yes, the target of your event was there, but we did not come to you. In fact, all things considered I would guess you probably used my gweth to know where your target was. Either way, You knew exactly the conditions before you and you chose to do it anyway.
IC speaking, you totally disrespected my cleric by using a room attack while he was working with a body. Your characters felt it was far more inportant to solve their interest right there and right now regardless of any other conditions that existed before you ever set foor in that room. My character draws the line there. You forgeit his aid, that is the penalty, Murrula would not wish him to aid someone who disrepscts the dead and the cleric she has appointed to deal with it. That is my RP.
As to our OOC conversations after it all died down. I will hold those thoughts privately. It was private afterall in my opinion. Not that I have concerns, but I don't really care to go into the full depth of something that would likely on lead to a pissing match. I am old school. I don't use IM's, I depend on the game environment to drive my characters actions, so all the OOC explaination takes away a bit of the spontaneity of it for me as a player.

I don't think so. I know spirit death has a delay, I guess the game doesn't constantly check spirit health but checks it on a pulse. So when CHS was around, if it knocked them into the death level of spirit, it would take a little bit before they actually keeled over.
Never had a problem with a stun killing at all and if it did I would assume it was a bug of some sort.
Just wanted to clear that up since it did start to get messy further along.

I will try to test that tonight or over the weekend. I'm sure I could find a volunteer to die for the cause. And I'm also sure that I ought to raise with less spirit health than you do, Bopper.
