So here's an interesting one. There I was, healing someone who was missing their chest from sparring (Useless -1, so very devastating internal and external wounds and scars to the chest) Took all of it, and was all hunky-dory, that is, until I cast regeneration. Once regeneration pulsed, I up and died.

He appears to be dead! Other than that...

He has a severely swollen and deeply bruised chest area with odd protrusions under the skin compounded by gaping holes in the chest area, an extremely painful chest while gasping for breath in short shallow bursts.

He is bleeding with widespread discoloration in the chest and very badly from the chest.

He is wearing a billowing dragonfire brocade greatcloak roiling like a furious firestorm, an ebony leather backpack embroidered along the flap with a crimson dragon, some voluminous black robes with outturned cuffs, some midnight black leathers, a coiled silver armlet shaped like a snake studded with cambrinth scales, a midnight black shield, some midnight black gloves, a platinum wedding band coiled like a sleeping dragon, an albredine crystal ring, a supple nightsilk gem pouch with a carved silver clasp and a dark adderwood tailband edged with sanguine dragon's blood crystal.

So, obviously something went wrong in being healed by regeneration. I'm guessing it pulsed on the wounds and made the scars worse, thus making them useless, which results in death. Sounds like it might be related to the old "I'm walking around with a stump for a head, isn't that interesting?" bug, where they fixed the issue of walking around with a stump for a head and not dying. (Speculation on my part, but that does seem to be what happened.)

There is a BUG with devastating or worse wounds. Only use PART or HALF on those wounds types, or this happens randomly regardless of if you have REGEN running. Melete said it'll be fixed when they release new healing (whenever that is).

There's also some weird bug with the shock state. I keep seeing people randomly die with no wounds after being in that state.

It is indeed strange. My health was at 100% when I died. But if you will also notice that the messaging for a pulse of regen happened right before death...

Already bugged it, Melete! Why do I keep breaking things? :(

Might also be an issue from healing the external wounds and stacking more scar on top or the other scars, I have died from herbs like that a few times and took a minute to figure out what was happening.

Keep in mind, regen heals fresh wounds first then scars. So if you took all of their death scar and were one step below ending up with death scar yourself, the first pulse of regen is going to kill you. It may look like it heals them all at the same moment, but I suspect the system sees it more as 4 steps. Try one cast of HS on any huge scarred areas before you start regen and see if that helps.
