It seems like, more often than not, if you manipulate 2 critters they tend to fight each other rather than non-manipulated critters in the room. Tends to lend itself to a slower kill rate when you can't manage to cast GS. Is this intended or is there any hope of it ever changing?
I tend to manipulate the second and third creatures, which seems to help in spreading out who is attacking who. Try playing around with which ones you manipulate, and keep in mind you can break and restart manipulate at will. That might help some.
(Also your GS has a taunt which is helpful if you want them on the GS, and not each other.)
