Hello looking for some help.I was wondering what does it take to stay awake when casting this spell. My pm is 185 and harness is 182. Not sure if magic has to be higher or if I am low on some of my stats. Any help would be greatful thank you.

Over 200 in your magics, and stats. I believe the spell was changed to be a will versus will contest, not sure when exactly.
When you can start putting 25+ mana into the spell, you'll be able to stay awake. This number goes down with skill and depending on how much you overpower the person you're trying to sleep, IIRC.

If the patient is not sitting or prone, it is a Spell vs. Stamina contest. And if you're casting at minimum, you will always fall asleep. So try with more mana and see if that works for you.

If you have a heart link with them first they will sleep, period. But if you're using it as a surprise or a sneak thing, then heart linking first isn't really an option :P

ok so after some testing..Thank you to Kryllok for being my test dumdy I was able to cast nb at 18 without harness any extra. My guess is that I need to do some work on magic skill. Thank you all for your help and suggestions.
