Good, good, good!! Wonderful, in fact! I'm completely thrilled with the masks. I bought some for myself and bunch for presents, too. I adore the mermaid and pirate masks, and I also loved all the critter ones...especially the scout ogre one that's 'all nose' and the wir dinego one. Truly, the masks have been one of the highlights of my visit!! Gah, in fact, I think I have to go back for the fire maiden...
I'm sooooo happy to see Sable back!! Thank you!!

I like them.
I can think of a few designs I would have liked to see done...but I always do that :) (should see my alteration ideas file)
Is the FOCUS for Sable masks intended to be like that though? I didn't even get a RT.

Was the mask rechargeable (did it say it was), did you sense a magical pattern, etc... etc...?
Does the mask tingle when you put it on?
I say this because some of the ordinary masks do not focus with an RT, I don't believe...but the regular Sable ones always should. I'll have to check it out this weekend.
10 days...I'll be so glad to be home.

I don't recall it explicitely saying it was rechargeable.
It was the gypsy mask...definitely magical, definitely the kind that tingles when you put it on.
When I focused, it said there was a strong pattern in the mask I couldn't recognize. I tried to CHARGE it anyway and it worked fine (sure took a lot of mana to do!) so...I'm not sure what to think.
I'll try and nab one from a friend later to get exact messaging.

Very good. Great selection as well was being able to add others in the future. I understand looking at ourselves doesn't show us what others see, but I'd like to see the entire look when looking into the mirror.
Being an avid gardner in RL, I really got a kick out of the flower masks.
I'd like a swan mask to be added to the animal/bird theme. :)
Very nice descriptions when worn. Outstanding job!

My understanding is that the LOOK of a mirror is tied to the same mechanics that LOOK self are, which is why you don't see what other people see when they look at you.
Perhaps this is something that can be changed when features and Shift are updated, but I'm not going to make any promises on Obseden's behalf where that's concerned.

<<which is why you don't see what other people see when they look at you.>>
It would also be nice if you could see your apparent age with either a mirror/look self. I didn't know I was "middle-aged" until someone told me.
That's actually funny for a couple reasons.

Taking stock of its offensive abilities, and defending with no weapon, you estimate that the black horse is something that'd kill you quickly.

What would be even nicer would be if we could shift to change that. My dwarf for example may be young for a dwarf, but he feels old. While my human is middle aged, but feels quite young.

Hey Obs, Any chance we'll be able to change that via shift? Since looking middle aged, young, old etc seems to me like a perfect use of shift, making someone look different then they really are.

It does...but since you can only do it one day/month/year at a time, it's really hard to do.
Age shifts are already incredibly difficult to get to in the first place, why do we have to add this extra step of waiting for hours between what ends up being dozens of shifts just to move up an age step?
I'd rather see it be opened up to steps in actual appearance (so you could move someone in their prime up to being middle-aged or down to being rather young).

Shifting age is a toughie, but I think it was intentionally made so because some players feel that being 'middle-aged' 'in your prime' etc is a badge of honor. I understand this.

So somewhere between 10 and 20 hours for the downtime (in otherwords; 8-10 days of playing until I can shift again). The month shift is at the very edge of my skill. On a side note, cant premium players choose to start out in their prime or something?

Hrm...just as an FYI...you shouldn't need to stay IG to have your shift timer reset. That should only be shock...shift is calculated in real time.
If this is not the case, please let me know...

I've found only in game time counts for the recovery period of shifting when I play my empath.

Yup...I screwed up...read the code wrong (believe me, it's confusing as it is).
So, at the moment shift time is only counted down while in-game...and because of how it is counted down, that's how it will probably stay for now.
