I think we're about due for a nice disease event. Something that people will want to get healed, but won't necessarily rack up a huge body count. It's been too long since I've actually felt like my character is a healer.

I agree.. part of the fun with consumption was having to organize kicking people out of the room because they would nearly instantly become reinfected if they didn't get out. I would love to see a souped up version of this sometime in the future! Don't loot the rats!!!!

Please? Actually having something to heal makes the game immeasureably more fun. Since everyday mechanics don't produce something to heal (Ever. Anywhere.), we could really use some event activity to help things along.
Or better yet, how about a nice automated system that occasionally produces outbreaks without requiring focused GM effort every time?
