Wasn't there a shop that opened recently (like within the past year or two) for empaths? I've been walking all through Crossing.. haven't seen anything special.. so if there was I assume it's not in Crossing

You remember those braided flower necklaces you made as a little girl (or watched little girls make)? They're like that, except they're containers of a sort. You can customize the fluff you wear without having to visit a merchant or become pen-pals with a premie GM.

That is what they are for...it was one of the item design winners from oh-so-long ago. Some types of flowers can also be added to them, though not all can. And you can mix the flowers and herbs together in the same garland. As to which can or can't be added, you'll have to fiddle with them and see.
