At the first meeting, we discussed names for the group and voted. We ended up agreeing upon the Professional Healers Association (PHA). We discussed proper charging etiquette and fees briefly, and Szrael unveiled the new web calculator she whipped up for us - STILL IN TESTING - currently located at: http://empathunion.appspot.com/ (for those who cannot use the genie calculator, located at: http://docs.google.com/View?docID=dfkzwmf5_0fzszs2dq). Something we decided we need is a location for PHA members, so people can find us easily, and will discuss it at the next meeting (not currently set). PHA members will be wearing an item that is labeled "UNION EMPATH" until we have an alternative identifier. We will not have fees or dues, but we will run events, like group hunts or fundraisers, to help cover the costs for people of a lower circle who cannot afford to on their own.

The main objection to the fee-based system tends to be, "But what about the <del>Children</del> Noobs!!!"

Despite the fact that noobs can, almost without exception, afford the PHA noob rate (by doing tasks), it would still do a lot to dampen criticism if there was some sort of "But the Noobs!!" mechanism in place.
