Hey all, I'm an empath noob and have noticed on a few occasions that wounds/scars miraculously disappear or lesson. Most of the time I notice it simply because a bleeder will go down a level (including from slight to non-existent) without ever being tended. But this time I acually caught it in a more obvious way. I had eaten herbs and they pulsed, but note that they hadn't pulsed between me typing health and me typing health again -- but my abdomen scarring went down a notch.
Is this normal? What's causing it?
You feel an itching sensation around your left eye, abdomen, chest, left leg, and right leg.
You feel slightly better.

Your body feels at full strength.
Your spirit feels full of life.
You have a few nearly invisible scars along the right leg, a few nearly invisible scars along the left leg, some tiny scars across the chest, minor scarring along the abdomen, a few nearly invisible scars along the left eye.

Regarding herbs, they do not show visible messaging on the first and last pulse. Depending on when you noticed this in relation to eating the herb, that could explain it going down.
Beyond that, there are only three situations that I have personally seen where wounds have gone down without any special action (ie, a cast spell or eaten herb or a friendly empath taking wounds from me) and one of them according to what everyone tells me is not at all supposed to be possible of happening even on accident.
1)when casting IWH or HW, there's a chance that the spell will heal your nerves without generating the appropriate scar like normal. I don't know if this is a general benefit of simply using the spell or if it's the result of putting way too much mana into the spell, but the only time I seem to see it happening is when I'm healing away my nerve damage from Regenerate.
2)bleeder reduction. Through the transfer of scars when you have an open bleeder to that area, the bleeder but not the actual wound level (as depicted in the non-bleeder list area) will reduce. Usually it will reduce down to slight, but I think I've managed to transfer one or two to a completely non-bleeding state recently. Also, simply by tending the wound you can sometimes see a reduction in bleeder level. At some point, it will stop reducing--probably after the first tend or if you get the stop the bleeding messaging.
3)supposedly this one's not even supposed to be possible by accident (ie, bug), but I've come across at least a handful of situations where someone had a certain level of wound that then transfers to me to become something smaller. That's the version I know I've seen, and I may have seen one example going in the other direction.
J'Lo, I'm a ranger.. I'd believe anything.....
