I'm looking for a decent empath script. I've been gone awhile and remember having one that worked very well, and I'm having no luck finding a decent one on the net. The one I'm using now just runs a blanket take wound routine that trys taking every possible wound. The one I remember using would only heal what was actually there so was much more efficient. If anyone has a decent one or knows of where to get one, I'd appreciate the help.

God, don't use the Crutch. I weep a little for every Empath that uses that poorly-coded piece of trash.

>> Code something better, then.

Other people already have.

Clem's script is pretty spiffy for what you can whip up in Stormfront, too.

Here we go again. Ain't no script no how can do what the crutch does, at least not in SF or Wizard. If you've got a script with a clickable GUI that shows you at a glance the spread and severity of all the patient's wounds, and that doesn't need to spam TOUCH a zillion times to get the full health status of the person you want to heal, I'd very much like to have it. Plus the crutch will autotend your bleeders and can track multiple patients with a note window for each one.

Yeah it's not perfect and it's poorly coded under the hood but who cares--it works.

I second everything Farman pretty much said, and to top it off, I've never found a script that was able to give me the control that the Crutch does. It's crap coding yeah, but it's the program I prefer to use when healing through anything, from multiple patients, to full on chaos in an invasion.

Plus maybe it's just what is sitting between the computer and the chair, but I've seen far too many Empaths overheal and die using scripts; again more then likely because they have a crap script or aren't watching whats going on, but eh, left a bad taste in my mouth.

Get genie and the advanced empath script on the forum. It's not a clickable gui but it doesn't need to be. It touches twice then takes all the wounds. If the wounds are severe it'll take half first, heal, then take the other half. I'd say typing 4 characters (.emp) is a lot more efficient than the crutch
