Are you KIDDING?
For something as important as Harry Potter, you have to PREPARE. That means a long shower, pedicure, manicure, moisturizing the skin, shaving your legs, doing your hair and make up, assembling and selecting an outfit...
Hell, I didn't even get this polished up when I got on a plane to move in with my boyfriend whom I hadn't seen for six months.
Gotta have your priorities straight...
"More colour-coded warnings? I give it a few more years tops until the mere sight of a rainbow fills me with abject terror and confusion."

>>Bah, I know Roahld Dahl hated the original but I loved it.
He hated it because the books were SOOOO much better. I personally love Roahld Dahl, and all of his books. Supposidely the new movies are closer to the books itself so..we'll see.

OMG.
FINALLY someone who agrees with me.
I've been saying it for weeks but all of my friends just keep looking at me funny.

I just want to hear the scene where he goes
"There's no earthly way of knowing, which direction we are going, or which way that we are rowing, or which way the river's flowing. Is it raining, is it snowing? Is a hurricane a blowing?"
that has officially been one of two parts in any movie that actually made me get scared... the other one... was ET... practically the entire movie was freaky... I had nightmares for weeks.
I'll watch Cujo, Nightmare on Elm Street, Jason, the Birds, etc etc etc... but don't make me watch ET... it's just too scary

A relatively healthy presence nearby.

That has to be one of my favorite parts of that whole movie..the old school one. I remember thinking it was deliciously insane as a kid, and even now to watch it, I have to laugh, it is great.
And woman my copy is on the kitchen table! I'll read it today and see if I concur.

Well...I personally thought it was awesome. I laughed so hard throughout the movie, and the movie was certainly even better with a full crowd. I'll probably go see it again, but after it has worn off. Sensory overload.
I also got a kick out of hearing a small group of people in the center of the theatre laughing and giggling at random parts in the movie...sounds like the group that tried the alternate view of the movie

Willa Wonka and the Chocolate Factory was hilarious, and we had a great time watching it, laughing and commenting excitedly to eachother throughout it..
But honestly, the Michael Jackson allusions completely creeped me out and the ending was both way weird and anticlimatic.
Regardless, I loved the rest of it and will definitely see it again. That Deep Choy oompa loompa is worth it alone. I laugh just thinking of it!

I loved the movie.
But damn, it was -so- funny to me. So funny. But no one in the theatre laughed! So I was left there all alone, quietly laughing, trying not to disturb their experience. It was very annoying. How could they not find it funny..!
"..you're weird"
The only girl I've ever loved
Was born with roses in her eyes
But then they buried her alive
One evening 1945
With just her sister at her side
And only weeks before the guns
All came and rained on everyone
