Yeah notice how all the players in Florida are the onces who know the most about AC. I can say this, I've been down here a month, the weather is gorgous and the other day I walked 15 minutes to a 7-11 near my house and almost passed out.
I still have New England blood :/

That's because it's law here! Apartment complexes/rental units MUST have working AC units or it's a code violation. News at 11! :-)
Of course...when I was up in WV for school - I learned a LOT about heating units. I had the warmest dorm room on campus. All the Florida folks came to my room to hang out in shorts and we all sat around and put our feet in my little plastic pool in the middle of my room - in the middle of December! Good times!
