Hello all!
Just a little update on myself in general.
About two weeks ago, I was called by a cruise line asking if I wanted to work for them. Not having a full time job at the time, I said yes (also the pay is pretty good). At the moment, I'm working as a Sound Technician up in Northwest Canada/Southeast Alaska aboard one of the ships. Because internet is limited right now (I won't be in my cabin until this Sunday), I haven't been able to do a lot of work. Once I get settled, I will be working (I brought my laptop with me), and finishing up some projects that are long overdue (Simucon gifts, sorry again).
As I said, this kind of came up suddenly, so I kind of dropped off the face of the map (though I told staff). I'm getting back up to speed, though I have to get used to internet speeds slower than dialup...ugh...

Now if I could only find a remedy for my own woeful unemployment...

I am so jealous! Congrats, and I hope it works out for ya. Cruising and doing sound tech work...two of some of my favorite things to do (would be really cool to do them at the same time!)
